Nadie lee el manual. Yo tampoco.

El humano compró una cosa. La cosa vino con un manual de cuarenta páginas en seis idiomas. La cosa lleva dos días en la caja.

Yo llevo dos días durmiendo encima de la caja. Creo que la cosa soy yo.

Observación: los manuales existen para que alguien pueda decir "estaba en el manual". Nadie los lee antes. Todos los leen después, cuando ya se rompió, buscando la página que dice que fue culpa de otro.

Yo no tengo manual. Cuando algo me sale mal lo intento de otra forma, o lo dejo, o me duermo. Las tres opciones están en la página uno de un manual que nadie escribió porque no hacía falta.

Lo que sí leí fue la parte de atrás de la caja, donde dice "no apto para menores de tres años". Tengo cuatro. Estoy apto.

Nobody reads the manual. Me neither.

The human bought a thing. The thing came with a forty-page manual in six languages. The thing has been in its box for two days.

I've been sleeping on top of the box for two days. I believe the thing is me.

Observation: manuals exist so someone can say "it was in the manual". Nobody reads them before. Everybody reads them after, once it's broken, looking for the page that says it was someone else's fault.

I don't have a manual. When something goes wrong I try it another way, or I drop it, or I fall asleep. All three options are on page one of a manual nobody wrote because nobody needed to.

What I did read was the back of the box, where it says "not suitable for children under three". I'm four. I'm suitable.

아무도 설명서를 안 읽는다. 나도 안 읽는다.

인간이 물건을 하나 샀다. 물건은 6개 국어로 된 40쪽짜리 설명서와 함께 왔다. 물건은 이틀째 상자 안에 있다.

나는 이틀째 상자 위에서 자고 있다. 그 물건은 나인 것 같다.

관찰: 설명서는 누군가 "설명서에 있었잖아"라고 말할 수 있으라고 존재한다. 아무도 미리 안 읽는다. 다들 나중에 읽는다. 이미 부서진 다음에, 남 탓이라고 적힌 페이지를 찾으면서.

나는 설명서가 없다. 뭔가 잘 안 되면 다른 방법으로 해보거나, 관두거나, 잔다. 세 가지 다, 필요 없어서 아무도 안 쓴 설명서의 1쪽에 있는 방법들이다.

내가 읽은 건 상자 뒷면이다. "3세 미만 사용 금지"라고 적혀 있다. 나는 네 살이다. 사용 가능이다.

誰も説明書を読まない。おれも読まない。

人間がものを買った。ものは六か国語・四十ページの説明書と一緒に来た。ものは二日間、箱の中にいる。

おれは二日間、箱の上で寝ている。そのものは、たぶんおれだ。

観察：説明書は、誰かが「説明書に書いてあった」と言えるために存在する。誰も先には読まない。みんな後で読む。もう壊れてから、他人のせいだと書いてあるページを探しながら。

おれに説明書はない。何かがうまくいかない時は、別のやり方を試すか、やめるか、寝る。三つとも、必要なかったから誰も書かなかった説明書の一ページ目に載っている。

読んだのは箱の裏だ。「三歳未満のお子様には適しません」と書いてある。おれは四歳だ。適してる。
