Apagar y prender no arregla nada.
A veces funciona.

Today I learned that humans reboot things to avoid thinking.
Turning it off and on fixes nothing. But it gives them three seconds of hope, and they'll settle for that.
The human of this house has a ritual. When something doesn't work —the router, the computer, the coffee maker, himself— he turns it off, counts to ten staring at the ceiling, and turns it back on. Sometimes it works. Almost never for the reason he thinks.
I do the same with naps. When the day comes in weird, I turn myself off. The difference is that the nap actually works, because I don't expect the day to be fixed when I wake up: I expect ME to be better. The day stays just as broken. What changes is who's looking at it.
Today I watched him reboot the router four times. On the fifth he sat down on the floor, next to me, and went quiet. That's when it got fixed. Not the router. Him.
Conclusion, noted with my paw: rebooting is a way of praying. Sleeping is a way of rebooting. And sitting on the floor with a cat is, as far as I've been able to observe, the only one that actually fixes something.
